According to some factors controlling the changes of coal bed thickness,this paper probes into the main work contents of coal bed thickness prediction and some methods for measuring coal bed thickness of tunneling coal bed roadway and stope face,and further expounds the method for predicting the changes of coal bed thickness,and puts forward the main working procedures of coal bed prediction for providing theoretical guidance for the high-efficiency coal mining.
