This paper gives an introduction on Design of Multi-functional power-factor Measuring Instrument based on ATMEGA16 single-chip microcomputer. The Multi-functional power - factor Measuring Instrument can measure many Parameters,such as power-factor, voltage, current, frequency, phase angle, power, reactive power and apparent power. And, the paper presents the principle block diagram of hardware circuit and software design flow-chart of Multi-functional power-factor Measuring Instrument.
