The global financial crises sparked by the US sub-prime crisis is an economic crisis,a deep ideological and ethical crisis as well as a social crisis.It has a great impact and influence on the economic and social development while it is a favorable chance to enhance the development of socialist core value system.It is essential to seize this strategic opportunity so as to make the basic content requirements of the socialist core values turn into the conscious pursuit of Chinese people through the way of popularization,life-orientation,mainstream-orientation,visualization and institutionalization.Thus a strong common foundation of ideology and morals is to be built in response to the international financial crisis and the building of a harmonious society.
