摘要
米兰.昆德的小说《不能承受的生命之轻》开创了一种独特的"音乐结构",即对复调艺术及音乐节奏的运用。根据小说改编的同名电影,通过配乐与场面调度成功再现原作"音乐结构"中"轻"与"重"的回旋、"快"与"慢"的变奏。这不仅是对小说精神与小说形式相对忠实的视听解读,也是使电影改编获得成功的关键,更从另一个侧面印证了昆德拉对小说形式进行音乐化探索的意义。在影像时代,小说的形式将不断走向开放与多元。
In his novel The Unbearable Lightness of Being,Milan Kundera created a mode of musical structure—the use of polyphony and music rhythm.In the movie adapted from the novel of the same title,the change from "lightness" to "heaviness" and the rhythm between "speed" and "slowness" in the "musical structure" of the original text are successfully represented through dubbing and scene manipulation,which not only displays the audio-visual faithfulness to the spirit and content of the novel but also is the key to the success of the film,thus somewhat verifying the significance of Kundera's innovative attempt to make the novel form musical.In the age of images,the form of the novel would come to be more open and diversified.
