研究了瑞利波法在铁路路基上应用的理论基础，提出应遵循的若干原则及在路基稳定性检测中的应用范围。

Theoretical basis of Rayleigh wave applied to railway roadbed is introduced.Also,it is suggested that several principles should be followed,and the application scope of inspection on stability of railway roadbed is proposed.
