陈寅恪“士族阶级”说述评

A Review of Mr. Yinke Chen's Literati Strata Theory

陈寅恪先生的"士族阶级"说乃是有别于通行阶级观的另一种阶级学说。"士族阶级"说的提出有利于学界深入研究门阀士族阶层的历史地位与社会作用。但是,"士族阶级"的门风似乎不宜用"优美"一词予以概括,同时,曹魏集团与司马氏集团之间的关系并不是"阉宦阶级"与"士族阶级"之间的较量。

Mr. Yinke Chen's literati strata theory is different from the people class view.Some historical phenomena,which were neglected by the people class view,can be perceived from the literati strata perspective.During the Six Dynasties Period,the mighty clans of the local gentry prevailed in China and the literati strata became a unique social group.Mr.Yinke Chen's literati theory is of great significance in that it called the academic community attention to and the studies of the mighty clans of the local gentry.However,it is inappropriate to over-exaggerate the historical roles of the literati strata.It does not seem to be appropriate to epitomize the moral standings of the literati strata as gracious.The fight between the Cao-Wei Group and Sima's Group was not a rivalry between the eunuch and the literati classes.
