Design and Implementation of China Financial Data Network Based on Frame Relay

该文简要介绍了帧中继的基本概念及其技术特点，重点讨论了帧中继的网络设计、实现策略。帧中继在局域网互连中起着不可替代的重要作用，文章就中国金融数据通信网中帧中继的设计方案及实现，并把帧中继与其它数据通信技术进行了比较，指出帧中继是现阶段向ATM过渡的最佳解决方案。

This paper briefly introdues the fundamental theory and features of frame relay, and discusses mainly the frame relay network design and implementation strategy. Frame relay plays such an important role in LAN internetworking that it can't be substituted. Using the example of design and implementation of China Financial Data Network as well as comparing frame relay with other data communication technologies, it comes to the conclusion that frame relay is the best way at present to upgrade to ATM.
