《上海》是横光利一在"新感觉派"文学鼎盛时期以中国的"五卅运动"为题材创作的一部长篇小说。关注半封建半殖民地的中国现代社会,是近代以降日本知识分子从未中止过的步履。在这个意义上,这部作品同时成为作家中国认识的一种艺术样态,蔑视中国人与社会的倾向是作品的主调。

Shanghai is a novel by Yokomitsu Riichi on the basis of ＂Wusa Movement＂ in the peak of ＂New Feeling＂.It pays attention to the semi-colonial and semi-feudal society of modern China,which is the pace of Japanese intellectuals since modern time.In this sense,the work becomes an artistic state of China＇s cognition on the part of Japanese writers,and disdaining Chinese and social tendency is the key note of the work.
