The request and significance of establishing the core competence in the maintenance of large scale cascade hydropower station were investigated.The establishment of the core competence of China Yangtze Power Maintenance Plant was analyzed.This work provided the basic ideas for forming a domestic first-class hydropower maintenance team with the competence of cascade hydropower stations maintenance.
