西杂哺乳犊牛补饲方法试验报告

Experiment on Supplementation Method for Sucking Calves of Simmental Crosses

本研究选用４４头１０日龄西杂二代犊牛，随机分成试验组和对照组，试验组定时定量补饲配合饲料，对照组喂以干麦草和混合料，研究犊牛增重效果。结果表明，在补饲期内，试验组和对照组的平均日增重分别为８３８和４８７ｇ（Ｐ＜０．０１）；头均补饲草料量无显著差异；头均盈利分别为７８８和４７６元（Ｐ＜０．０１）。试验组牛出栏时间比对照组提前半年至一年。西杂犊牛在哺乳期加强补饲培育，具有良好的增重效果和明显的经济效益。

Forty-four 10-d old calves of F 2 Simmental crosses were selected in the study and randomly divided into treatment and control groups, calves in treatment group received certain amount of formulated diet supplementation at definite time, calves in control group received dry wheat straw and compound concentrate, in order to investigate the growth performance of calves. The result showed that during the supplementation period, average daily gain of treatment group was significantly greater than control group (P < 0.01); there was no remarkable difference in mean feed intake per head; average profit per head was 788 and 476 RMB Yuan for treatment and control groups respectively (P<0.01).The selling time of calves in treatment group was 6 to 12 months earlier than in control group.In conclusion,supplementation for calves of Simmental crosses in sucking period demonstrated a good growth performance and high economic returns.
