Big Dream & Expo

上海世博会设计由三套结构系统组合完成——符号的、想象的、现实的,前两个是主角。而从世博的时代精神来看,最合适、最值得全力经营的是第三套结构,只有它才是真正的现实,才应该成为这次世博会的起点,才应该成为过程的主体和最后的终点。而如今将其放在次之又次之的位置上,给我们留下一个整体意义上的遗憾。这个遗憾造成的一个结果是,这次的世博正如那句著名的口号,仍然是一个大梦幻。

Shanghai Expo is constitute of three sets of structural system--that of sign,of imagination,and of reality,the first two of which are the main characters.While speaking from the time spirit of the Expo,the fittest and the one worth all our strength to run is the third one,for only this is the true reality,should be the start point of this Expo,and even should be the main body during the process as well as the final end.If we put it at the even less important position,there will be a pit in the general significance,which leads to the result as that famous slogan:still a big dream.
