Improvement on the Driving Shaft of the Oil Pump on 12V135 Diesel Engines

现场使用情况表明,12V135型柴油机机油泵主动轴因结构设计不合理,选用材质不当,使用中易断裂。预防主动轴断裂的措施是:增大易断裂部分的轴径,用平键代替半圆键,轴选用40CrMo钢制造,并进行调质处理,达到HB220～260。改进后的机油泵主动轴在使用中未发生断裂现象,经济效益显著。

Field operations show that the oil pump driving shafts on 12V135 Diesel cngincs often get broken because of improper design and unsuitable material. Measures for preventing the shaft from breaking include:increasing the shaft diameter at critical section, using flat key instead of semicircular key, making the shaft with 40CrMo steel, quenched and tempered to a hardness of HB220-260. It is found that no failure has occurred on the improved driving shafts.
