ＰＯＳ机由具有独立网址的卡识读器、显示器和键盘组成，采用串行总线接口与上位计算机通讯，网上运行ＰＯＳ可达８５台，以充分利用计算机的资源，降低系统的硬件成本为前提，论述了食堂ＰＯＳ系统的虚拟化方法．这种方法也同样适用于其它的一些ＰＯＳ系统的设计．

A realization method of virtual POS (Point Of Sale) system used in mess halls is statedfor making full use of computer resources and for reducing the cost of hardware. A single POSset is composed of a card identification unit, a displaying unit and a keyboard unit, and each canalso be employed in other POS systems. All POS sets comrnumcate with the upper level computerthrough serial bus. As many as 85 sets of POS can operate simultaneously within one POS system.
