A survey of the technology development of CAD/CAM in dies and moulds

综述了国内外模具ＣＡＤ／ＣＡＭ技术的发展概况．指出了模具设计过程的规范化、设计方法的算法化及数据结构的合理设计将是该项技术的关键所在；阐明了几何造型在模具ＣＡＤ／ＣＡＭ过程中的重要性，它将为整个设计过程提供完整的原始设计信息．并简述了现有２Ｄ几何造型系统的研究现状及存在的问题．

A brief account of the technological development of CAD/CAM in dies and moulds at home and abroad is given in this article. The keys of the technology are to make design process standardized, to get reliable algorithm of different design methods and to work out rational data structure. It is clarified that geometric modelling is very important in CAD/CAM of dies and moulds, for it offers an initial integrate design information to be used through whole design process. Current research situation and existing problems of two dimensional geometric modelling available now are also briefly shown here.
