The reason why the harmony of society is the nature of socialism is that only socialism can provide the objective conditions needed for constructing a harmonious society. For a harmonious society, the socialist system serves as its political premise, the common interest of all the people as its economic foundation, the development of thesocialist productive forces as its material guaranttee,the leadship of the Party as its politicial guarantee, and the core socialist value system as the spiritual motivation.
