Harmonic and harmonic suppression is important m atter in DC transmission.This paper analyzes various filtering devices in operation.Effects,advantages and disadvantages of filters are discussed.Especially deep discussion of active power filter is provided,which developed rapidly in recent years.Basic principle of active power filter is introduced in this paper,and its application in DC and AC system is detailed analized.The key technology of active power filter is also be discussed.
