摘要
目的:检测血管内皮生长因子(Vascularendothelialgrowthfactor,VEGF)和上皮细胞来源的中性粒细胞活化肽-78(epithelialneutrophil-activingpepfide-78,ENA-78)在子宫内膜异位症(endometriosis,EMs)患者血清中的表达水平,以探讨二者在EMs发病机制中的作用及相关性。方法:应用酶联免疫吸附法(enzyme-linkedimmunosobentassay,ELISA)检测48例(Ⅰ、Ⅱ期22例,Ⅲ、Ⅳ期26例)EMs患者及40例非EMs患者血清中VEGF与ENA-78的表达水平,分析二者与EMs的关系和相关性,以及二者表达水平与患者痛经程度的关系。结果:EMs患者血清中VEGF和ENA-78的表达水平均明显高于非EMs患者,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);Ⅲ、Ⅳ期EMs患者血清VEGF及ENA-78的水平均高于Ⅰ、Ⅱ期患者,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);VEGF和ENA-78在EMs患者血清中的表达水平呈正相关(r=0.572,P<0.05);血清中VEGF和ENA-78的表达水平与痛经严重程度均无明显相关性(P>0.05)。结论:VEGF和ENA-78在EMs患者血清中呈正相关表达,二者在EMs的发生、发展中可能具有协同作用;血清中VEGF和ENA-78的水平无法反应痛经的严重程度。
Objective:To investigate the concentrations of vascular endothelial growth facter (VEGF) and epithelial neutrophilactivating peptide-78 (ENA-78) in the serum of patients with endometriosis,and to explore the role of them in the pathogenesis of endo-metriosis.Methods:Serum concentrations of VEGF and ENA-78were measured by enzyme-linked immunosobent assay (ELISA) in 48 patients with endometriosis (22 in stages Ⅰ,Ⅱ and 26 in stages Ⅲ,Ⅳ) in comparison with 40 women without endometriosis.The correlation of serum concentrations of VEGF and ENA-78 and the relationship between the levels of these cytokines and dysmenorrhea were analyzed as well.Results:Concentrations of VEGF and ENA-78 were statistically higher in serum from endometriosis patients than that from controls (P 0.05).Serum concentrations of VEGF and ENA-78 were statistically higher in stages Ⅲ and Ⅳ than that in stages Ⅰ and Ⅱ (P 0.05).The levels of VEGF and ENA-78 were positively correlated in serum of patients with endometriosis (r=0.572,P 0.05).The levels of VEGF and ENA-78 in the serum of patients were uncorrelated with the severity of dysmenorrhea (P 0.05).Conclusion:Increased serum levels of VEGF and ENA-78 indicate that these cytokines may play an important role in the pathogenesis of endometriosis.The levels of VEGF and ENA-78 in the serum have no significant correlation with the dysmenorrhea.
