依靠科技进步促进三峡库区可持续发展

Promoting the Sustainable Development of Three Gorges Reservoir Area by the Progress of Science and Technology

三峡工程对于从根本上解决我国长江中下游水患,充分利用我国水力资源,造福广大人民具有极为重要的意义。三峡工程建成后,必须高度关注三峡库区的发展问题。本文从三峡库区的现实情况出发,提出了依靠科技进步,科学规划城镇发展、积极发展工业园区、做大做强特色农业、大力发展现代服务业、努力建设生态屏障,确保库区经济社会持续健康发展的思路建议。

The Three Gorges Project is of great significance to fundamentally solving flood risk in middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River in China, as well as fully utilizing hydraulic power for the benefit of millions of people. After the completion of the project, the development issues of Three Gorges Reservoir Area must be highly concerned. The paper analyzes the situation and condition of Three Gorges Reservoir Area, tries to give recommendations on sustainable development in the district by the progress of scince and technology, such as scientifically planning of cities and towns, actively developing industrial parks, making bigger and stronger characteristic agriculture, developing modem service industry etc.
