摘要
综述了Metaphone语音匹配算法;与Soundex算法的编码结果相比较,指出了Metaphone算法的优缺点。对一段实现Metaphone算法的Delphi源代码进行了分析,并修正了其中的漏洞。用典型实例说明Metaphone适用于检查及校正和语音相关的拼写错误。介绍了Metaphone的两大应用领域,并指出了Metaphone在文本清理等领域的潜在用途。
Metaphone phonetic matching algorithm is reviewed,and the merit and demerit of Metaphone algorithm are pointed out by comparing with the encoding result of Soundex algorithm.A section of Delphi source code of implementing Metaphone algorithm is analyzed and the bugs in it are fixed.The typical examples demonstrate that Metaphone is suited for checking and correcting the spelling mistakes related to phonetics.The two major application fields of Metaphone are introduced and the potential uses of it in other fields such as text cleaning are indicated.
