The main performance indexes of near-infrared（NIR） spectrometer are described.The current state of research on NIR spectrometers in China and abroad are reviewed,including hardware,sample test accessaries and software design,and new instrument development.The achievements and shortcomings in the development of NIR spectrometers in China are summarized.Future trends of development and the key problems in the development of NIR spectrometers in China are discussed.
