The process flow,process technical features of each unit,and the design figures for the 800 kt/a China-made sulfur-burning sulfuric acid plant are described.Major process parameters measured during the long-term operation are given.Except catalysts,all equipment and materials in the plant are made in China.Its production shows that,various process figures have met the design specification,and the mass concentration of SO2 in the emitted gas is only 46~75 mg/m3.This large-sized China-made sulfur-burning sulfuric acid plant is considered successful.
