An Analysis of Neolithic Cultural Sites at Xuanwei

宣威境内已发现的三个新石器时代洞穴遗址都具有以夹砂灰陶为主,以罐、碗和圈足器为组合,石器中有肩、有段器形等相同的文化特征,并与邻近地区新石器遗址有一定的渊源关系,这些特征表明,宣威新石器文化的族属应为百越民族。

Three Neolithic cave ruins have already been discovered at Xuanwei and they all had coarse and grey pottery in cans,bowls and foot-loop devices as combination.There were shoulder-like and segment-like shapes as well,which were the same cultural characteristics in Neolithic period.Certain original relations with Neolithic sites of neighboring regions have been found,which shows that Xuanwei Neolithic culture belongs to the Baiyue ethnic groups.
