摘要
研究了引力常数随时间变化对食双星轨道演变的影响。理论结果表明:轨道半径和轨道周期以线性形式随时间缩减,但无周期变化、圆形轨道的形状只有周期和混合长期项(Poisson项)。对5颗密近食双星的轨道半径和轨道周期的长期演变的上下限做了数值估计,并具体讨论了理论结果和其他效应的对比。
This paper examines the influence of a temporal variation of the Gravitational Constant(G) on the evolution of near-circular orbits of close eclipsing binary stars. The theoretical results show that( 1 ) if the G really varies the radii and periods of the orbits decrease in linear forms with time instead of any periodicchange form, and (2)the shape of a near-circular orbit changes due to a temporal variation of the G with the change described by a periodic term and a mixed secular term ( Poisson's term). The upper and lower limits of the secular evolution rates due to a variation of the G are estimated for the radii and periods of the circular orbits of five close eclipsing binary star systems. In addition, these results are compared to effects on the orbits from other physical factors.
