Fourteen Words for the Amendment of Great Chinese Dictionary

《汉语大词典》是目前世界上收录汉语词汇数量最多的大型权威语文工具书,但是在编纂时,所用语言材料基本以中土文献为中心,对佛教文献关注不够,这造成很多相关词目的失收,今增补十四则。

Great Chinese Dictionary is the large Chinese reference book which collects the most Chinese words for the time being, but language materials collected in Great Chinese Dictionary are based on Chinese literature and it pays little attention to Buddhist literature, which results in many omissions of words about Buddhism. Now, we add 16 important words to it, in order to provide some reference for the amendment of Great Chinese Dictionary in the future.
