With a embankment processing in the 4-bid section of Xiao-Xiang highway in Hubei province as an example, it describes the influencing factors, settlement observation and quality testing of powder-spray pile in the construction, and discusses defects of this technology, with a view to promote the application of powder-spray pile in highway engineering.
