Online Non-formal Learning Based on the Long Tail Theory

本文从网络非正式学习与长尾理论的关系出发,结合长尾理论的九条原则来谈构建基于长尾理论的网络非正式学习模式所要遵循的原则以及对于学习模式的建构和分析说明;最后提出关于模式应用的一些策略。

With the rapid growth of online technology,non-formal learning,satisfying diversified needs of people,has become an important learning mode.Online non-formal learning,with its diversification of learning methods and large scale of learners,has its theoretical underpinning from the Long Tail Theory.This study aims at exploring the construction of online non-formal learning mode by drawing on the Long Tail Theory.The key modules of online non-formal learning include learning needs analysis,individual recommendation,learning mode choice,learning support,learning resources choice,and learning performance record.After detailed analysis of the functions of each module,the authors also provide corresponding strategies to apply online non-formal learning mode.
