平等、民主、公正:非政府组织如何做到?——以妇女/社会性别学学科发展网络为例

Equality, Democracy, Equity: How Do Non-governmental Organizations Do It?——The Example of Women's/Gender Studies Development Network

在当代社会,对许多妇女非政府组织来说,民主、平等、公正是其追求的目标。但事实上,在具体的运行过程中,观念、效率乃至领导者的个性等都往往会与民主、平等、公正之间形成某种矛盾,致使民主、平等、公正在许多时候会在一定程度上被牺牲掉,从而使人们对民主、平等、公正是否能真正得到实施和实现产生了怀疑。中国大陆妇女非政府组织是在’95世妇会后得到较大发展的。妇女组织如何做到民主、平等、公正一直是中国大陆妇女非政府组织的重大关切议题,也是其努力的方向。本文以中国大陆民间目前最大的妇女/社会性别学学科发展促进组织——妇女/社会性别学学科发展网络为例,探讨妇女非政府组织是如何实践和实现民主化、公平化、公正化的组织运行的。

To many women＇s non-governmental organizations today,their goals are achieving equality,democracy and equity.In actual operation,however,outlook,efficiency and leaders＇ personality of these organizations run so often in conflict with the above goals that from time to time the goals are compromised and that one becomes dubious about whether these goals can really be realized.Women＇s non-governmental organizations in China's Mainland started to grow in leaps and bounds since the 1995 4th International Women＇s Conference.How to achieve democracy,equality,and equity in practice has been both an issue of concern to women＇s ngos in China and a direction in which they are heading.This paper takes the biggest organization that promotes the development of Women＇s/Gender Studies-Women＇s/Gender Studies Development Network—in China as an example to investigate how women＇s ngos can achieve equality,democracy and equity in operation.
