This article discusses the purport of constructing class libraries in air traffic control information systems with object-oriented methods. With the flight movement message service in civil aviation as an example,the article describes how to design and develop software with objectoriented methods. Implementing the standard of class libraries can hopefully enhance a software system＇s stability and expandability in its operation,maintenance and upgrade at the initial stage of its development.
