城市青年生育意愿与行为的背离及其影响因素——来自4个城市的调查

Reproductive Behaviors and Preferences of China's Urban Youths:Deviation and Determinants

文章利用2009年4个城市的调查数据,以20～34岁城市青年现有人口为研究对象,从时间、数量和性别3个维度描述了其生育意愿与生育行为的背离现状,探讨了初育年龄、性别偏好和政策因素对于生育数量意愿与行为间差异的影响。结果显示,中国城市青年中确实存在着生育意愿与生育行为相背离的现象,行为未达意愿是主导;初育年龄、流动状况及性别因素对城市青年实际子女数与理想子女数的差异有显著影响。

Deviation of actual and desired number of children has been observed in many countries.Based on survey data in four cities in 2009,this paper studies the situation in China urban youths aged 20～34 with consideration of timing,number and sex structure,and explores the determinants of such deviation.The results show that significant difference does exist between youth's reproductive behaviors and their preferences;the main determinants are first childbearing age,migration status and gender factor.
