This paper firstly summarizes the principles of Focused Search Engines,then introduces Lucene,an advanced full-text retrieval engine.It also demonstrates the specific construction algorithm of the topic-specific dictionary of an electronic product search engine based on lucene.In the final part of the paper problems as to how to update dictionary and how to construct a topic-specific dictionary based on user query log for information retrieval are discussed.
