In the Miao language,"Biasha"means a"place where trees flourish."Situated on the southern border of Guizhou Province, Biasha is a village that is famous for being the home of China’s last tribe of gunmen. This primitive Miao village is hidden away in a forest and its residents live in wooden houses - on stilts - by the river.
岜沙，是苗族中草木繁多的意思。岜沙苗寨是贵州黔东南苗寨中令人难忘的一个寨子，吊脚楼依山而筑，密密匝匝地在几座山坡上遥遥相望。
