从颜色字构形看中国传统文化

Traditional Chinese Culture as Observed from the Perspective of the Structure of Chinese Characters Denoting Colors

汉字是世界上现存的唯一的一种经历几千年的发展变化,至今仍在使用的表意体系的文字。承载着丰厚的中国传统文化意蕴。通过对表颜色汉字构形方式的分析,可探讨古人的辨色技术、染色用料和纺织染色业的发展状况,通过对颜色字的取义指向物的探讨,了解民族色彩观念及其传统文化心理。

Chinese character is the only ideographic language that is still in use after thousands of years since its emergency. The characters carry very rich meaning of the traditional Chinese culture. The structure of the Chinese characters denoting colors can tell the development of the ancient Chinese＇s color identifying techniques,dyeing materials,and textile dyeing industry. This paper,by discussing the objects from which the characters derived their meanings,attempts to understand the Chinese people＇s color concept and their traditional cultural psychology.
