This paper introduces the research and realization of a real-time fault diagnosis expert system which is monitoring and diagnosing the large automatic cold rolling production line of a steel factory.It also gives a successful example which a real-time fault diagnosis expert system is been applying to a large scale complex dynamic system.To research similar real-time fault diagnosis expert systems, important inspiration and real references can be gained from this paper.
