中国佛教音乐是中华传统音乐中不可分割的重要组成部分,是非常宝贵的非物质文化遗产。九华山佛教音乐属于汉传佛教音乐,在应用形式上可分为仪规音乐和道场音乐两类。千百年来,九华山佛教音乐不断地与地方传统文化交汇融合,逐渐形成了既有殿堂音乐的庄重静穆与神秘,又有民间音乐的清新典雅与脱俗的九华山特色。它对于研究我国音乐、文化、民俗、民风及宗教流传衍变等方面具有很高的学术价值。

Chinese Buddhism music plays an important part in Chinese traditional music as well as very precious intangible cultural heritage. The Buddhism music in Juhua Mountain belongs to Mahayana Buddhism, in terms of application form, which can be divided into music for ceremony and music for Buddhist rites. For thousands of years, Buddhism music in Juhua Mountain has been blended with local traditional culture, then, shaping into a kind of music with solemn, awe-inspiring, elegant and fresh characteristics. The author believes that, to make study on the Buddhism music in Juhua Mountain will be helpful to study the development of Chinese music, culture, custom, and Buddhism.
