My View on Reference Consultation

图书馆参考咨询被誉为"图书馆心脏",是读者工作的重要组成部分。论述了参考咨询的内涵、产生及演变,网络参考咨询的概念,从内涵和服务方式两个方面分析比较了传统参考咨询与网络参考咨询的不同之处。从而呼吁图书馆同仁应该充分利用各种馆藏文献资源,加大网络参考咨询服务开展的力度,为读者提供全方位的优质服务。

Reference consultation,reputed as the heart of library,is an important part of service forreaders.This paperdiscusses the connotation,creation and development of reference consultation as well as the concept of network reference consultation.It analyses the difference between traditional reference consultation and network reference consultation from the view of internal meanings and service manners,from which taking full advantage of all literatures in a library is appealed to the librarians so as to popularize the service of network reference consultation and provide all-round high quality service forreaders.
