近年来,随着文体的发展演变,杂文已逐渐渗透到各种文体当中。杂文与小小说本属两种不同的文体范畴,但许多杂文作者却喜欢采用小小说的形式和手法抒写杂文,使杂文小小说化的倾向不断加强,甚至出现杂文与小小说界限不清的现象,这虽然拓宽了杂文的表现手法,但在很大程度上却削弱了杂文的社会作用,成为杂文萎缩化的一大标志。
