This paper introduces the performance and characteristics of radio chip CC2430. A CC2430-based wireless sensor network node hardware modular design is presented. The control module manages functions of each node; the collection module is in charge of data acquisition and transformation;the wireless module transmits data and commands; the power module provides and manages power for each node.
