摘要
考查了合作学习应用于大学英语听力教学的效果,旨在找到通过合作学习提高非英语专业学生听力水平的有效方法。笔者选取同质的两个班进行实验,实验结果表明两班在听力水平上存在显著差异。根据统计数据分析认为,在听力课上运用合作学习的教学方法能够提高学生的听力水平。问卷调查结果表明,合作学习对提高学生英语听说方面的自信心,激发其学习兴趣,缓解焦虑情绪可以起到积极作用。分析了实验的局限性,并对此提出了进一步研究的建议。
The present study investigates the effects of cooperative learning in listening teaching of non - English majors to aim at finding out an effective way to improve English comprehension listening proficiency through cooperative learning instruction. After the experiment, there are significant differences in listening proficiency between the two groups. According to the statistics, this paper concludes that cooperative learning is an effective way to improve students' listening proficiency. And the results of post experiment questionnaire show the majority of the students in the experimental group become more confident and much less nervous when listening and speaking, and exhibit higher interest in the course. The paper also presents limitations of the study and recommendations for further studies.
