How to ensure accurately hitting a target point,smoothly reach the target zone and realize the best drilling in horizontal level is the key for the successful drilling during the horizontal well operation.On the basis of stating the four phenomena of the target point hard-landing,the well trajectory out the reservoir,the well trajectory with low permeable formation or shale stone lenticular body and drilling with the complex faults which may happen during the horizontal well drilling,the paper discussed the pre-drilling preparing work for geologging,analyzed the measures of corresponding geologic orientation,well trajectory control and adjustment.It was considered that the keys for geologging to ensure accurately hitting a target point,smoothly reach the target zone and realize the best drilling in horizontal wells are grasping the situation of formation geology and reservoir at the pre-drilling stage,intensifying real time detection and correlation and making the decision for the adjustment of the orientation and deviation during drilling.
