This paper presents an overview on the foreground of data mining technology, in power information development and integration platform, data mining architecture, the goat of integration display application and data mining technology ＆ its common methods, analyzes the necessity and possibility to apply the data mining technology in power system. In the end, according to the characteristics of the power system, comhining with the development trend of power market, the paper discusses the application of the data mining technology in data integration of the power system.
