摘要
立足于苏珊巴斯内特诗歌翻译的种子移植理论,通过分析唐朝诗人柳宗元所作唐诗《江雪》的五个译本,指出,正如种子在不同的土壤中所长成的植物会有所不同,对同一首诗的翻译也会因译者文化背景的不同而有所变化。而诗歌移植的成功取决于译者能否从读者转化为作者,解放语言符号,使其进入一种流动状态,然后再凝固入另一种语言。
Five translations of the poem - Jiang Xue are analyzed from the perspective of Susan Bassnett' s transplanting the seed theory for the translation of poetry. It is argued that translations of the same poem will be different because of the different cultural backgrounds where translators are situated just as the seed will grow into a new plant in a new soil, and that the success of the poetry transplantation depends on whether the translator can free the signs into circulation, then returning them into another language as a reader who becomes a writer.
