摘要
英语影视承载着丰富的生活化语言,具有传统教材与教学资料无法比拟的优越性,对英语听说能力起着极大的促进作用。大学英语教师可以在建构主义教学理论指导下,在教学中积极利用这一资源促进大学英语听说教学,在激发学生学习热情的同时,加深其对西方文化的了解,从而提高其语言交际能力。
This paper discusses the advantages of English films and points out that film teaching has great potential and will add vitality to the teaching of listening and speaking. University English teachers should apply English films actively to inspire students' enthusiasm in study and to enhance their understanding in Western culture so as to improve their verbal communication ability. The paper also puts forward some suggestions on the criteria for film selection and the procedures of film teaching.
