陶行知和晏阳初是民国时期著名的教育家，他们既反对传统教育，又反对洋化教育，脚踏实地从中国人民的实际生活出发，提出了各具特色的乡村教育思想，为我国教育的现代化做出了重要的贡献。

Tao Xingzhi and Yan Yangchu were the famous educationalists in the early part of 20th century. They opposed not only traditional education but also western education. They came up with various thoughts about rural education which based on the reality of Chinese people＇ s life. They had made important contributions to the educational modernization of our country.
