Based on work experience and present maintenance situations,the author points out the significance of locomotive main instrument,namely electrical measuring instrument,component maintenance for increasing instrument maintenance quality and the vocation of maintenance personnel and the main selection guidlines of electrical measuring instrument compont maintenance technologies are represented.
