近代中国社会是中国历史变革发最剧烈的阶段之一,是一段经济政治上由单一走向复杂,由封闭走向开放的矛盾交织的历程。其中,带有鲜明西方文化特征的基督教建筑的发展对中国近代的建筑体系及城市产生了较大的影响。本文以长沙为例,阐述基督教及基督教建筑传入前后长沙城市格局的发展变化,分析这种演变在地理位置上的倾向和特征,并揭示这种格局蕴含的深刻意义,以期给当代长沙及其他城市的规划建设以启示。

The modern China society was one of the most intensive political and economic revolutions from single to complexity,from closeness to openness with various contradictions.During this period of time,the Christian architecture with deep western culture brought about a far-reaching impact on the system of Chinese modern architecture and urban structure.This article takes the Changsha city as an example.It expounds the changes of the urban structure with the introduction of the Christian culture and Christian architecture.It also analyzes the tendency and features of this evolution on the basis of its locations,as well as reveals a deep meaning implied in the evolution,therefore enlightening the contemporary Changsha and other cities＇ urban planning and development.
