Application of Moldflow in the Injection Mold Gate Design of Front Cover of Mobile Phone

针对注塑模具中合理的浇口位置在塑料制品成型中的重要性,结合注射成型中塑料熔体在型腔内充填模拟基本理论,介绍了专业模流分析软件Moldflow在手机前盖注塑模具浇口位置设计中的应用,从产品的填充时间、充模压力、气穴和熔接痕等方面对不同的浇口设计方案进行对比,从而获得最佳的浇口位置。

Considering the importance of the injection mold plastic gate location of injection molding in the forming of the plastic product,combining with basic theory of filling simulation of the plastic melt in the cavity in the process of injection molding,the application of the professional mold flow analysis software Moldflow in injection mold gate design of front cover of the mobile phone was introduced.The filling time of product,filling pressure,air trap and weld lines such different gate designs were compared to gain the best gate location.
