During design period of steel making plant of Tianjin Pipe Corporation, a set of quality tracking sys-tem of computer was designed for continuous casting billets. The system could supervise the quality status of the billets on line,and instruct the production and inspection of product. The article introduced the functions and using method of this system ,as well as the problems to be solved and the benefit form using these functions.
