关于伦理学性质与方法的辨正

Identification on Characteristics and Ways of Ethics

受"科学主义"的影响,许多伦理学家大都乐意将伦理学称之为一门科学。其实,伦理学从来不是一门纯科学。通过分析伦理学所研究的道德问题的性质可以得知,伦理学是哲学性为主,科学性为辅的哲学分支学科。这就表明,哲学的方法与科学的方法在伦理学的研究中均不可偏废。方法是解决问题的工具,被伦理学所用的哲学方法和科学方法,也分别存在于将道德问题进行分工研究的道德哲学、规范伦理学、元伦理学、描述伦理学、部门伦理学、道德文化学和伦理史学这些伦理学的分支学科之中。

Influenced by scientism,many ethicists are willing to call ethics as a science.However,ethics has never been a pure science.With its analysis of moral questions＇ characteristics,ethics appears as a branch of philosophy,which is primal in philosophy,and supplemented by science.So philosophical approach and scientific approach are both useful in research of ethics.They are tool for question solution and both exist in ethic researches as moral philosophy,normative ethics,meta-ethics,descriptive ethics,department ethics,moral culturology and ethical historiography.
