The Cultivation of Civic Awareness——From the Perspective of the Negative Impact of "Official Standard Consciousness",the Remnants of the Imperial Examination System

科举制度曾在中国历史上起过重大的作用。它虽然为我国公民提供了较为正规的入仕之途,但是其弊端也表现得极为充分,其压抑了公民意识的成长。在现阶段,面对科举制度残余即官本位思想对公民意识的消极影响,中央在采取应对措施方面,愈来愈强调以人为本,鼓励公民强化公民意识,积极参与社会发展。

Imperial examination system played an important role in Chinese history.Although it offered a formal channel for citizens to enter political system,the disadvantages also emerged completely,and it suppressed the growth of civic awareness.At this stage,our country is faced with the negative impact of remnants of the imperial examination system that is official standard consciousness.When we take corresponding measures,more and more emphasis is put on people-oriented development,encouraging citizens to develop civic awareness,and participating in social development actively.
