《俎侯夭簋》:“易在俎王人□又七生”考释平义

Comments on the Sentence "Awarding These People in Zu Site □ And Seven Sheng" of Zu Hou Yao Gui

《俎侯夭簋》"易在俎王人□又七●"一句,"七"后一字当释为"生",学者或释为"里",不确。无论从铭文字体、铭文内容、同时期分封铭文的格式与内容,还是西周时期"里"的性质等,皆可得到有力的证明。

Abstract：As the sentence ＂Awarding These People in Zu Site □ And Seven Families＂ of Zu Hou Yao Gui （俎侯夭簋）, the word after ＂seven＂ is ＂sheng（生 ）＂. It is wrong to define it as li （里）. We can testify this viewpoint from these evidences as the letterform and content of bronze inscription,the style and content of the other contemporaneous bronze inscriptions, and the character of li （ 里 ） in western Zhou Dynasty of China.
